Location

Our office is based in Dedham,MA - but these days most of our team works some days of the week from home. Even if you can’t be in the office every day, if you are a good fit for this role, we encourage you to apply.

 

The Position

Storm Flag is looking for a mid to senior level 3D Artist that can handle every aspect of the pipeline from modeling to FX & Animation. Your level will be dependent on your experience. Having 2D skills is a plus. Personality-wise we are looking for a candidate that is passionate and a pro-active problem solver. Communication and people skills are especially important in the pandemic world we live in.

This is full time role, though part-time or contract work may be possible in some cases. This role is largely work from home but some office days be required.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Work across all aspects of 3D asset production: low-poly modeling, texture creation, UVs, rigging, and animation

  • Work within the constraints of our current project to create the highest quality 3D and 2D assets (as needed)

  • Take remote direction and feedback to maintain visual design pillars of the current project

  • Experience producing high quality art assets across a cornucopia of software

  • Self-directed

  • Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of designers, artists, and engineers

  • Helps to establish and maintain visual styles

  • Takes pride in creating art that helps make the best possible game experience

  • Format assets according to design specs, technical requirements, and best practices

  • Meets self-imposed deadlines

  • 3+ years creating professional quality 3D art

  • Passionate and enthusiastic about video games

  • 2D art skills – concept, UI

  • Experience with Unity, Unreal, WebGL, 3ds Max

  • Technical skills
